One day or two?
12 h 21 min in one go, before meals and traffic, is more than most people should drive in a day. A night in Chumphon means day two starts full from an overnight or morning charge, with fewer fast-charging stops, which cost more than hotel or AC charging. The way back plans the same: Phuket to Bangkok.
