EVNav TH is a personal, non-commercial hobby project — free, as is, with no warranty and no liability. Plans are estimates; always check before you drive.
EVNav TH (evnavth.com) is a personal project: an EV trip planner for Thailand you can use without an account (a free account is optional). This notice explains what personal data we handle, why, and your rights under Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (PDPA).
What we process

We use no advertising trackers and we do not sell personal data.
Analytics (only with your consent)
If you click Accept analytics, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the planner is used:
pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location (city level) and anonymous usage events such as
“trip planned” (distance, number of stops, car brand) or “opened Google Maps”. We never send your start or
destination, coordinates, email or other identifying details. Google Analytics sets the cookies _ga and
_ga_* and processes the data as our service provider, which may involve transfer outside Thailand.
Data is retained for up to 14 months. If you decline or don't choose, Google Analytics is not loaded at all.
You can change your choice any time via Cookie settings.
Services that see your requests
- Cloudflare (content delivery and security) processes every request to evnavth.com.
- Our own map tile server (map data © OpenStreetMap contributors) sees your IP address like any web server.
- Google Maps — only when you tap “Open in Google Maps”; from then on Google's own privacy policy applies.
- Google Analytics — only if you accept analytics cookies (see “Analytics”).
- Clerk (Clerk, Inc., USA) runs accounts and sign-in — only when you press “Sign in”. It processes account data as our processor, in the United States. If you sign in with Google, LINE or TikTok, that service learns that you signed in to EVNav TH.
- Our self-hosted mailing-list software (listmonk) stores the early-access sign-ups from before accounts existed and sends the emails; every email has an unsubscribe link.
The planner runs on our server in Singapore; map images and the mailing list are served from Thailand; account data is held by Clerk in the United States. Where data leaves Thailand, we rely on the safeguards available under the PDPA.
Cookies
Strictly necessary: a cookie with a random ID is set only when you save a trip, and Clerk session cookies
(__session, __client_uat and cookies on Clerk's domain) only when you sign in. Optional: Google Analytics
cookies, only if you accept analytics (see above). Deleting your browser cookies removes access to saved trips
and resets your analytics choice.
Your rights
You can withdraw your email consent at any time with the unsubscribe link in any email or by writing to us. You may ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, object to or restrict its processing, and complain to the Office of the Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC). Saved trips can be deleted directly in the app, and you can delete your account yourself under profile menu → Manage account. For anything else, email privacy@evnavth.com. Because we do not know who you are, we may ask you to send the request from the browser that saved the trips.
Changes
If we change how data is used, we will update this notice and the date above before the change takes effect.
